History

«Siberian Glass Company», CJSC was founded in May 1997. The main activity was directed to the dealer agreement realization of Borsk Glass factory production to Krasnoyarsk Territory and The Republic of Khakasiya.

1997—1998 — The company purchased a production base (S=13000m²), started offering glass processing service and formed an auto service center. The total number of employees amounts to13people.

1999 — The company reconstructed a production department (S=288m²) and put into operation a vacuum line for architectural glass covering with decorative, thermal-control and solar-control coatings using a magnetron sputtering technology. The total number of employees amounts to 25people.

2000 — The company constructed and put into operation an office block (S=432m²), production (S=730m²) and storage (S=864m²) buildings; formed auto glass and laminated building glass domestic manufacture. The total number of employees amounts to 49people.

2001 — The company constructed and put into operation an insulating glass production department, supplied it with modern, high-technology equipment, started serial production output and purchased drilling and glass processing equipment. The total number of employees amounts to 93people.

2002 — The company constructed and put into operation a glass processing department (S=216m²) and a cooling storehouse (S=744m²), reconstructed the insulating glass production department (S=864m²) and purchased the efficient equipment for glass edging. The total number of employees amounts to 115people.

2003 — The company purchased a manufacturing block (S=20350m²) — a former metal working factory, put into operation an automated line for flat and bent tempered glass production and purchased the new equipment for insulating glass production and glass cutting. The total number of employees amounts to 152 people.

2004 — The company reconstructed the factory manufacturing block, purchased the equipment for insulating glass production, cutting and glass processing and put into operation a glass sandblasting department. The total number of employees amounts to 205people.

2005 — The company reconstructed and put into operation the segment of the factory manufacturing block (S=2700m²), resupplied it with high technology equipment for laminated glass production, glass tempering, cutting and drilling and put into operation a “fusing” glass department. The total number of employees amounts to 235people.

2006 — The company purchased, installed and started up a line for insulating glass production based on an innovation TPS technology. The line turns to be the only one in Siberian region, the third one in Russia and the forty eighth one in the world. The company branch was opened in Abakan city. The total number of employees amounts to 300people.

2007 — The company reconstructed and put into operation the segment of the factory manufacturing block (S=8260mІ), opened the branch in Barnaul and Irkutsk cities, purchased and installed flat glass tempering equipment, an automatic seaming machine and an enamelled glass production line. The total number of employees amounts to 320people.

2008 — The company started the production of new products: enamelled glass SG Colour and fire resistant glass SG Fire, put into operation horizontal flat glass tempering furnace. The company purchased a unique GlassJet printer for digital glass printing. The total number of employees amounts to more than 400 people.

2009 — The company adopted the technology and started the production of an exclusive for Siberian Region product — electrically heated glass SG Heat. The production branch was opened in Novosibirsk City —«Siberian Glass Company — Ob», LLC.
